This large learning complex was built in 1580s by the Jesuits. Here are The College of San Francisco Javier – one of the most prestigious educational centers in New Spain in the 17th century. The museum of the complex includes famous collections of artworks and sculptures. The collection is one of the largest from the Mexican colonial era.
