Tsiolkovsky State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics – Kaluga, Russia

Comment are off

It’s the first space museum in the world, opened in 1967. Museum’s exhibition is great and there are a lot of interesting things, like a real scale-model of “Sputnik 1” (“Satellite One”), space rover ‘Lunokhod 1″ (“Moon Walker One”), opened to visit base block of orbital station “Mir” (“World“). Don’t miss exhibition of theoretical spaceships models by Konstantin Tsiolkovsky.
